Prickly Pear Sour is a refreshing fruited sour beer thatโs perfect for The Summer heat! With its bright peachy-pink hue and a fluffy, cotton candy-like head, this brew offers a sweet tropical fruit Aroma and watermelon-like taste. Crafted with prickly pear and guava purees combined with wheat and lactobacillus for souring, this sour offers a mellow grain flavour paired with vibrant watermelon notes and a mouthwatering finish.
Beer Nerd Fact: This beer has gone through a kettle souring process where the beer is cooled down rapidly in the kettle and bacteria is added to it overnight. The bacteria creates lactic acid and quickly drops the pH souring the beer.
